SWAP Limo Rocks da Boat

The SWAP Limousine helped twelve lucky winners to ride in style down to Rock da Boat on Friday 20th.

This was the first “outing” by the limousine and was a great success. Our thanks to Corey and Etu from Majik FM, Y-Not and V-Bar for making it all happen.

The SWAP Foundation is pleased to generate online exposure and action for Samoa and looks forward to using the “SWAP Limo” for many more adventures in the future. Pictures and story are available online at Samoa Limousines Hall of Fame

Savaii here we come

Samoan sunsetThe SWAP team is off to Savaii this morning to check out the beach resort at Falealupo.

With sunsets like this one, Falealupo beach is very likely to be a major part of the Go! Go! Go! SAMOA and SAMOA DAY promotion. It is the last place in the world to see the sun each day.

The team will be checking out the tourist sights and friends along the way. They will be reporting back with their experiences in a day or so.

Full On . . . Full On

OK, well we’ve arrived … Dunno so much about the culture shock but wasn’t expecting the depth of third world conditions.

Left Christchurch in 6 degrees and arrived to 30 degrees…ouch! Especially when you are still in trousers and sneakers. Plus when we arrived Air NZ managed to lose Rosie’s suitcase, seems the check-in chick in Christchurch figured it was quicker to hit ‘reprint’ for baggage tags for the people behind us, so needless to say the impossible happened (Air New Zealand’s words) and our bags had the same baggage tag numbers as the people behind us!
