It is with mixed emotions that we are pleased to announce that the SWAP Foundation now has land at the back of Tafaigata.
We have had a difficult time with delays and issues and false starts and setbacks and changes to our plans over the last year or more, so we are first of all mostly RELIEVED.
We are enormously GRATEFUL too. Our thanks go to the Prime Minister for his unwavering support and to the General Manager of Samoa Land Corporation who has today allocated 5 acres to the SWAP Foundation for our headquarters.
We have a degree of TREPIDATION over the work required to get the HQ up and running in short order. With the Go! Go! Go! SAMOA promotion requiring a lot of our attention we are wondering how we can do what we want to do over the next few months. We will do it though – somehow!
Overall though we are mostly EXCITED – really excited – to finally be in a position to work and invest and build without mind-changing from landlords or fear of losing our little “place in Paradise”.
