Samoa Operations Suspended

The SWAP Foundation regrets to announce that all our operations in Samoa are suspended until further notice, effective immediately.

This announcement follows the resignation of the latest SWAP Ambassadors this afternoon who simultaneously with their resignation, made several accusations of impropriety and serious character flaws on the part of myself, the principal of the SWAP Foundation, Dennis A. Smith.

The allegations are of such a nature and severity that, should they be verified (even in part), I would be of an unsuitable character to conduct the type of operation that SWAP is currently involved in; assisting Palagi to engage with post-Tsunami Samoa.

While I personally reject all the allegatations outright, as founder, visionary, primary funder and CEO of the SWAP Foundation, I am unwilling professionally to continue with even the remotest possibly that we could be putting third parties at risk.

It is therefore appropriate for me to cease all operations until further notice. We will update this blog should circumstances change.

Details of the allegations and information surrounding this matter are available [[mailto info@swapsamoa.com,upon request]].
