Scott Simôn (structural draughtsman engineer architect designer sounding-board ideas-man general good guy) and Helena Dunn (Journo/blogger a.k.a. Miss Passion) arrived safely at Apia this morning.
Scott says that walking out of the aeroplane into the tropical heat was a R-A-T-H-E-R big shock to the system.
Helena is itching to get out there and interview people left, right and centre. WHOAH there Helena – this is Samoa. Take it easy . . .
They spent their first couple of hours Kicking back at Aggie Grey’s resort; Lounging around at a tropical island beach overlooking a pristine blue Samoan lagoon; with the Pacific swell breaking on the coral reef; enjoying a cold Vailima under an umbrella – BOTHER! Life is hard for some of us eh?
On the trip in to Apia both of them were also surprised to see so many Fales without walls. A real eye-opener for our Palagi friends. We look forward to their blog posts in due course.
